Aaargh.
So, can you tell I'm frustrated?
Double aaargh.
No worries -- we're okay here... plodding along (no crises or new issues -- thankfully!).
BUT I can't tell you how many hours I've spent this week trying to figure out how to get the video files from my new camcorder (it's really neat, btw) to upload in a format that's compatible with Blogger.
In case you're wondering, yes, I got my office cleaned up enough to access my desktop (hours and hours). And yes, I got all the Windows-based software installed and figured out for uploading the video files (more hours). And I even uploaded the videos (a breeze). But the uploaded files are in some strange format, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to convert them to a file type Blogger will recognize.
Oh, aaargh and double aaargh!
So now I'm back to being my decidedly low-tech, still-photo-camera-user self (not premanently -- just until I have more time to figure out the video thing).
Couple all that with Internet access issues (we had another ice storm this week), and I'm ready to chuck technology all together (well, not really -- but that's how it feels sometimes).
Thank goodness Labs don't require techno-anything. Here are a few images of our low-tech Labs from the past week:
Oh, how simple is the life of a Lab!
And, after this technology-challenged week, that's sounding more and more like the life for me.
'Til next time (I'm still hoping it's going to be videos!),
Joan
P.S. Today is DH's and my 27th wedding anniversary. Yay! :o) Where did those years go?

Happy anniversary! I LOVE when labs tuck their nose under something (paw, blanket, pillow). It is so cute!
Happy Anniversary to you both!
I can help you with your video problems! Check your email. And I'm really happy for Red. He was one of my favorites.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can rest easier now that I've gotten my Lab Tails fix. Chester and I were concerned but now that we know it was "just" a technology issue and not human or canine we are relieved! (Don't mean to make light of it, never fails when a new piece of technology comes home with me, there are more than enough aaarrghhh's to go around) SO happy for Red, I hope his new dad realizes he is getting quite a treasure! And congrats on 27 years of marriage-quite a proud accomplishment in this day and age!
I just found your blog this week, and am enjoying it -- and the photos. I have Tulip, a sweet and quiet black lab, and a favor to ask. Would you please consider posting a blog entry on "how to photograph a black lab and get something other than a shiny black blob"?
