Have I ever missed you all!
Very long story short: my hands are back and I can key again on the keyboard. :)
This summer I developed a spinal issue that affected the nerves exiting my spine at C7 and T1. That resulted in significant numbness and weakness in both arms and hands (at one point I couldn't even hold up a dinner plate).
Today, after three full months of PT, lots of doc visits, and mega drugs (hehe), I can say I'm 90% better. And keyboarding (actually typing on the keyboard) no longer aggravates the nerves.
YAY!!!!
Nope, the issue isn't solved (the spine issue itself won't go away), but I know what to do now to keep symptoms and complications at bay and to postpone any surgical interventions for years (I hope).
So.... that's why I've been absent.
And in about a half hour, I'll have an update for you all on the Canine Crew. ;)
And I can start blogging again!!!!!! :-D
