Mr. Green's Birth Video (a little yucky)

Here's Mr. Green being whelped. DTS is the "catcher" :o) I'm taking the video and coaching.

It's almost 6:30 a.m., and the three wee ones are nestled in the puppy/warming box, Elsie is outside with Don, the whelping box is clean, and the first load of towels is washing.

DH is getting ready for work, and Elsie and I have at least two (who knows how many) more pups to go.

Stay tuned; it ain't over yet.

You guys are champions! I hope you can nap a little. Still sending good thoughts your way!

Boy, am I exhausted for you and for Elsie too! Can you imagine if us as humans had this many kids at once and had to go hours between deliveries. I have a feeling the world would be a lot less populated! The three so far are beautiful! Sending happy puppy thoughts your way for the ones left to make their entrance!

Congratulations on the new puppies! Mom just told me this morning that I needed to come check the blog, and it's so exciting that they're here! It looks like you guys are doing a fabulous job. Keeping you in my prayers as the process continues :-)
Lots of love,

Hope all is going well - my girl is due with her second litter in just over a week, so it has been extra fun following along with Elsie the past couple months, and we look forward to reading about the puppies.

Also, my girl's birthday just happens to be today, so we think those pups chose an excellent day to be born!
