Mr. Lime is Back and Fine :o)

Just a quick note to let you all know that Mr. Lime, after spending the afternoon and evening at the vet's (he was there just a few hours -- enough to get two rounds of subcu fluids), came home last night and is doing just fine. :o)

He really just needed to boost his hydration. This morning he's barking and trotting and even jumping up on the side of the pen (yay!). And he ate his meatball ravenously!. :o)

And he thoroughly enjoyed chewing his new Nylabone puppy bone this morning (all the pups got them at the same time to avoid too much competition -- geez... they're worse than toddlers!)

It's looking good for him.

I'll update about the rest separately.

Until then,
Joan

I am so happy for you all! What an awful ordeal, but so glad you are on the other side now.

Whew! Let's hear about the big dogs too! How did they get sick too, since they were vaccinated? Was it because it was a weird strain of parvo?

Hi Joan!
I jotted you an e-mail but then thought I could keep up with the pups here the easiest. Don't know why I didn't think of that sooner!! Anyways, it's great to see that they are making progress. I am sorry to hear about Mr. Blue. I didn't realize he had passed until reading way down into your blog. I had been hopeful that they were all recuperating well. It sounds like things really could have been worse and I realize they are not all out of the woods yet, so to speak. Hang in there. We're praying for you all.
